But it was 2003 when the site launched and 2006 when it became the most popular social networking site on the web. Things have dramatically changed in a short period of time. Facebook overtook MySpace as the leader just a brief two years later. Which leaves me asking the questions Why would anyone continue to use MySpace? Who ARE these people? Regardless, social media is here to stay. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and thousands of wannabe sites provide us with opportunities to connect with others from next door and all over the world.
