Twitter's Missing Link

It seems like just yesterday that I released the first edition of Twitter Power. The ubiquitous Twitter question, "What are you doing?" had people writing 140-character responses in droves.

At that time, I had about 5000 followers and I thought it was a large number.

The years have passed, Twitter has grown exponentially, and follower counts have multiplied. Twitter has added a number of features to make the site easier and more intuitive to use.

But it has really been third-party developers with access to Twitter's API that have created some amazing applications. Tweetdeck, Hootsuite and countless sites utilitizing OAuth (Twitter's login identification system) have added to, and improved, the functionality of Twitter.

However, with all these improvements and enhancements, Twitter is still lacking a key feature which is desperately needed in order to create a true sense of community. Due to the ridiculous amount of noise on Twitter and lackluster attempt at threading conversations, it is very challenging to nurture community. This component is what I call "The Missing Link."

Well, I've got some good news!

I am one of a handful of people who are privileged to now have access to a new tool which finally connects the dots and takes Twitter functionality to the next level... one which enhances the already existing tool and provides an arena in which individuals can embrace and nurture niche communities, enhancing the entire user experience.
