Here's what Zig Ziglar told me...

Hi My,

The year was 1989. The place was Dallas, Texas.

I was invited to attend a 3-day seminar titled
"Born to Win", featuring Zig Ziglar.

Little did I know at the time that the weekend
in a hotel conference room in Dallas would so
greatly impact my life.

You see, when people ask me what quote has become
the driving force for what I do, it's inevitably
this Zig Ziglar quote.

"You get what you want when you help enough other
people get what they want."

For the past 21 years, my online career has been
dedicated to bringing value to others through
education, inspiration and entertainment.

Websites, blogging, podcasting, books, information
products, online video, social media, iPhone
applications, software and speaking have all attracted
my curiosity. As a result, I've been blessed to have
success in all these fields.

But for the past few years, I've been on the
lookout for the next "big thing" that would truly
capture my attention.

And so, while I've been very quiet via email, some
of you have been watching closely what I'm up to these days.

I've found the next big thing. And it is HUGE.

For today, I want to come full circle back to
Zig Ziglar and the quote that inspired a course
for my life.

You see, Zig passed away a few years ago.

But his son, Tom Ziglar, has picked up the mantle

P.S. - Zig's other quote that really stuck with me
is "People don't care how much you know until they

people that has given me the opportunity to share
what I know. Zig was right. :-)
