What the heck IS Bitcoin... and why should you care?

Hi My Unless you've been living in a cave for the past few years, you've undoubtedly heard the words bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrency. If you are like me, you've only paid attention on the periphery... until now. Now, let's be clear. Over my 22 years of online business, I know something big when I see it. Again and again, I have been early to the game.  Whether building a website in 1995, cracking the Google AdSense code in 2004, jumping all-in on social media in 2007 or pioneering iPhone apps, I can smell the next big thing a mile away. Unfortunately, it's taken me a bit longer than usual to smell this one... but now that I do I am absolutely certain that cryptocurrency is going to be MASSIVE! The good news is that the masses are not yet awake to this fact, and that means the opportunity to learn more is ripe for you and me. You may not get it, and that's fine. I want to help you understand. In fact, I am so immersed in the world of cryptocurrency that I have teamed up with my friend Travis Wright (of VentureBeat.com) to create a podcast which makes it all easy-to-understand. It's called The Bad Crypto Podcast because we don't know it all.
