Listen in... I'm going to share a secret to my success with you right now.

It's 1995 and I'm totally on fire with the idea of building a website. So I do it.

It's 1997 and I partner with a programmer to build a game site.

It's 1999 and I'm enamored with online shopping, so I build a coupon site.

It's 2004 and I crack the code on Google AdSense, so I write a best-seller.

(are you seeing a pattern?)

It's 2007 and I see video as the future of the online world so I produce a reality show.

It's 2008 and I love my iPhone, so I make a #1 best-selling app.

It's 2014 and I think live video is the best thing since sliced bread, so I master the technology.

There's definitely a pattern here, and you'll see it in the pivot.

Every time I become fascinated with something and explore it, I find out if there is something of substance there.

When I do, I pivot.

Here we are in 2017... and here comes the pivot.

No, I'm not going to stop working in the live video space. In fact, I'm excited to announce a my position as a Brand Ambassador for another innovator in the space.. that's coming soon.

No, I'm not going to stop writing books. I've got one coming out in a month or so and another next year.

No, I'm not going to stop speaking on topics that excite me.

But my attention has been totally captivated by something that has been quietly bubbling in the tech space.

That something is cryptocurrency. You may be more familiar with the term Bitcoin.

In fact, over the last 3 months I have become so immersed in the space that I have launched a podcast with my friend Travis Wright...

... the show has taken off like a rocket!

I was locked in a room with Jay Baer and Chris Brogan!

Last week, I attended and spoke at my fourth Social Media Marketing World in San Diego.

If you've never been to this event, it is quite a time! It's more like a family reunion with so many friends and peers in the social media space.
