Originally titled "What Google Never Told You About Making Money with AdSense", the ebook came out in January 1995 with just 66 pages. Today it is in its fourth edition and comes in at over 230 pages. I still bring in around $500/day with AdSense. But Google is just ONE way that I make money with my sites. In 2007, I discovered another contextual ad service that had great promise. Instead of using ad blocks made famous by AdSense, this new service invited publishers to copy and paste a piece of code on their pages and receive ads displayed IN-TEXT. That means that certain keywords would be highlighted as advertisements. When you roll your mouse over those keywords, a small advertisement would pop up under your mouse and invite you to click it. Of course, a click on the ad means money for the site owner. The service is called Kontera, and I regularly receive thousands of dollars each month from them. Read more...
