That's what the chatter sounds like in marketing circles these days.

It's all about Facebook. Google Plus is the latest thing. Oh, we
have to be on Pinterest. Twitter is the rage.

There's no doubt that ALL of these social media sites are an
important part of your marketing mix. They all have value.

But I am still not hearing nearly as much as I should about
LinkedIn, especially from those who should know better.

Question: Are you on LinkedIn?

Question: If you ARE on LinkedIn, are you using it to its fullest?

Probably not. And that's because you probably don't know
HOW to use it to it's fullest.

How powerful is LinkedIn?

I have nearly 14,000 people liking my page on Facebook.

I have over 70,000 people following me on Twitter.

But I am connected to over 18,866,655 professionals on LinkedIn!

In business, it's all about connecting with other people. So are
you doing the math?

A few months back I told you about Lewis Howes. Lewis

using their ads will affect your Google Pagerank.

I have not seen any changes in Pagerank or traffic for any sites

Over the years I have experimented with dozens of methods for monetizing my websites. Advertising has proven to be a tried and true model for turning content into cash.

Google AdSense, Kontera and Chitika have all been reliable sources of income for me and many of my readers. Other ad services have come and gone, generating a little revenue along the way but not having staying power.

I recently recalled when my parents asked to take my daughter, Christine to Disney World. It was just before she turned three. We lived in Orlando at the time. Mom and Dad came to visit. Christy got in free. What's not to love?

So they took off to Disney World but first planned a stop at Busch Gardens in Tampa. As they got closer, Grandma read all the billboards announcing the attractions and each promising "Too Much Fun!" Christy got more excited as they passed each one.
