Blogging is NOT Rocket Science, My

Hey My,

I remember when I started my blog almost nine years ago. I was
excited to have the ability to easily create and publish content
to my own site. There were many topics I wanted to write about
and blogging made it easy to do.

I was even more excited when I discovered that my blog began
making money... real money.

Over the years, a number of others have enjoyed similar success

How to Publish Your Work for Kindle

Ebooks are nothing new. I've been writing and selling them for over seven years. There's no question that there is a lot of money to be made with ebooks.

However, some marketers are hyping up the ebook craze beyond what is reasonably attainable for many people.

It's true that the rise of the Kindle, iPad and Nook are making publishing more accessible for anyone who wants to get their work distributed. In fact, if there is one thing that I can say for sure it is that digital books are here to stay.

Why you need a book.. and how to do it RIGHT

Hey My ,

It's been a while since I emailed you, and for good reason.

There's just not much out there worth telling you about! Same
old products and services. Yawn.

So when I do email you, you know there is something worthwhile
going on. I hope you read this one through to the end and see
if there is a good fit for what you are currently working on.

I have a question for you...

If you were in one of those sci-fi battle competitions where they
let the combatants choose one weapon, what would you choose?

A sword, a spear, or that stick with a spiked ball on the chain?

Well, if the battle was against the your competition as a speaker,
consultant, or expert, and I could only choose one marketing tool, I
know for sure which weapon I'd choose.

I'd create a particular kind of book.

Particular in what way? Here's what I'd design:

1. My book would look professional like the bestsellers my target
readers were familiar with.

2. My book would have a curiosity inducing title and a powerful
subtitle.

3. My book would grab my target niche reader by the lapels and
seduce them to read it now.

4. My book would demonstrate my expertise.

5. My book would showcase my style. (Nothing worse than attracting
people who don't like you!)

Starting a book is easy. You open your word processing program and type a sentence. Like this - "It was a dark and stormy night."

Then you save the file as My_New_Book.doc and YOU are an author! This allows you to go around impressing people by saying the magic words, "I'm currently writing a book."
