Hey My,
Out of all the things I do, speaking in front of live audiences is my absolute favorite.
There's nothing like taking the stage before a crowd eager to hear what you have to say, and then delivering the goods with your insights, wisdom, knowledge and unique personality.
I LOVE it!
I'm frequently asked how to become a paid speaker. And of course, you have to be asked to get on stages.
If you want to be a paid public speaker and get on more stages, you need to read on.
If not, just watch for my next email. k?
For those who have stayed with me, welcome to the world of paid speaking! It's an incredible blessing to do what I do and there are only a FEW people I trust to help you get there.
One of those people is my friend Felicia Slattery. Felicia and I have worked together over the years and we even created a "How to Give Great Presentations" video training series for a major publishing house.
Felicia is the creator of the Signature Speech and is the #1 best-selling author of "21 Ways to Make Money Speaking." She knows her stuff and has my full endorsement.
Felicia has put together special package created just for brand new speakers who want to shortcut the process for getting on stages and getting paid to speak. It's called the BRAND NEW Speaker Marketing Checklist Bundle, and it is available for 60% off for a short time.
http://comm.us/speaking
Here's what you're getting with these checklists:
* Speaker Website/Webpage Checklist: What do you need to put on your website that meeting planners are looking for
* Speaker Website OR Webpage: How to decide if you need a whole website devoted to your speaking or if you can simply add a page to your existing website
* Speaker One Sheet Checklist: Make sure this crucial one-page marketing tool includes exactly what meeting planners want to see to book you as a speaker
* Speaker Intro Checklist: Before you get on stage someone will be introducing you to the audience. You'll be asked to provide a written intro for an emcee or someone else to read. This is what it should look like and what it should say to get the audience excited to hear you.
* Speaker Bio Checklist: There are multiple occasions where you'll need a biography. Use this checklist to create a bio that will get you noticed and make you be memorable.
* Speaker Video Checklist: What goes into your speaker video that will get you booked? Follow the checklist and get in front of more audiences!
* Speech Description & Title Checklist: When you describe your speech and create a title, it should sound so exciting anyone interested in your topic won't be able to stay away. This checklist shows you how.
* Speaker Photo Checklist: For most of us online, it's our headshot that is our first impression. But as a speaker, did you know you need more than one photo? That's because photos are a BIG part of the proof you've been on and you're good on stage. They represent branding at its finest.
* Speaker Business Card Checklist: Sometimes all you have is that tiny bit of real estate to make a lasting impression. Use it well and it can lead to future business! This checklist makes sure you won't miss a thing when putting yours together.
She's also got a number of bonuses that will help you on your journey. Man, I wish I had something like this when I got started ten years ago!

Do good stuff,
Joel

Why video marketing is the future
My,
For the past year I've been shouting from the rooftops how
important live video is. Well, this week Facebook announced
that they will be producing a LIVE morning show which will
be made available to their over 1 BILLION users.
Stop and think how incredibly powerful, and game changing,
this will be.
But just because live video is gaining traction doesn't mean
you shouldn't be paying attention to standard video.
In fact, every live video will become a standard video that
is available for replay on demand.
That means no matter what your product or service, you need
to get video marketing down. It's here to stay.
If you've not done video, creating marketing messages can be
a bit intimidating, unless you have a template and training.
These guys made over 1.5 million using video marketing in the
last year, so I think this short video will provide you with
some great insights.
http://comm.us/rubix
I've been doing video marketing since 2006. But when I started
we didn't have tools or templates. We just figured it out.
I wish I had had this kind of training when I got started!
So here's to your advantage. Video marketing is here to stay.
This is a fast-track way for you to get started.

Do good stuff!
Joel
P.S. - I'm going to be sharing more about video marketing in the
future, especially because I am all-in on live video.
P.P.S. - I really don't like P.P.S.'s, but in meeting FTC
requirements, I need to add another to let you know that if
you choose to download the product being offered, I may earn
a commission. Always be up front and stay legit!

Why didn't I listen?
My,
Popular online publication Mashable.com published an article
this morning that said...
"Facebook Live is the next big thing in media"
The article goes on to share how mainstream media companies are
going to be embracing Facebook's video platform in record numbers.
It also means the opportunity for people like you and me to jump
on the live video train is currently wide open... but not for long!
And I don't want you to be one of the people that looks back and
says "Why didn't I listen to Joel?!"
I'm conducting encore performances of my free webinar called
*** Increasing Traffic, Leads And Sales With Snapchat & Live Video ***
You can register right now and select which date/time is best for you.
==> http://livevideorevolution.com/register
My track record on spotting "the next big thing" has been 100% over
the past two decades. I'm right about this as well, and for more than NINE
MONTHS have been saying exactly what Mashable's article says about live video.
I'm not surprised.
The only thing that surprises me is that some people still aren't listening
and are sleeping while this opportunity passes them by.
Don't let it pass YOU by!
==> http://livevideorevolution.com/register
I look forward to seeing you on the free webinar. :-)
Do good stuff,

You aren't in the business of selling products or services
Yo My,
This may come as a surprise to you, but you really aren't in the
business of selling products or services.
Oh, sure. You've got stuff you market to others. It might be a
physical product. It might be a digital product. It might be
a service of some kind.
But those things really aren't what your business is all about.
(No, I didn't have too much wine last night...)
You see, your products and services would have no value if there
was no one to consume them.
That's why I say you aren't in the business of selling products
and services.
It's because you are in the business of SERVING PEOPLE!
And you serve people through the products and services you offer
them.
Products and services which should add value to your customers'
lives. Products and services which should make a difference to
those who buy them.
Remember, it's all about people. Without them, you don't have
a business at all.
This friendly reminder brought to you by me. :-)
Have an awesome day and...
Do good stuff!
Joel
P.S. - Sometimes I like to email you my thoughts. No sales pitch.
No offer. Just because you matter!
P.P.S. - If you've read this far, I'm going to reward you with a
valuable freebie! I've set up a private group for those interested
in live video and how to use it to grow your business.
