There are so many people on the streets of our cities. How many more are there that we DON'T see? We've all encountered homeless people in our cities or towns. My heart goes out to those who don't have a safe place to rest their heads. It's even more heartbreaking when those people are children. I recently had the opportunity to meet Ken John here in Northern Colorado. Ken is the Executive Director of Homeless Gear, a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of the homeless in our region. While Ken's organization provides clothing to the homeless, he focuses more on the needs that other organizations are not meeting. Read more...
