 Subscription boxes are nothing new. For a number of years, the woman's market has been packed with companies offering monthly boxes packed with cosmetics, self-care products and other goods that provide an element of mystery and surprise. Subscription boxes have moved on to other niches, such as parenting, eco-friendly and jewelry. My son and I recently discovered a subscription box service just for geeks and gamers, whose number we are both among. The service is called LootCrate, and it's pretty darned cool. We just received our first themed loot box and created an unboxing video to demonstrate what is inside.
