The Latest from Joel Comm Where did your last big idea come from? Do you remember where you were? Do you recall who you were with? Certainly ideas can spring forth when you are brainstorming with other people. There's nothing like masterminding and tossing out stream-of-consciousness thoughts in order to find a big idea. But I've found that the best ideas often originate in circumstances that are… well… unusual. You can't choose where your ideas come from. It just happens when it happens. I say that in advance because as I share where I am when my best ideas surface, you may think I am sharing too much information.
